My girlfriend and I have been dating for four months now and we really like each other, but I have one big problem ~ she has kept all her gifts from earlier boyfriends and even sometimes wears jewellery given by them and is still friends with some of them. I know she likes me and not them, but this still bothers me.

Dear Bothered Boyfriend,
First of all, stop dating this girl, Joseph! She is a serial dater! At 18, how many previous boyfriends has she had?! Are you upset with her, because you cant support her lavish lifestyle like her exes?! First find out whether she works in a jewellery store. If not, tell her the jewellery looks terrible on her. At any rate, dates are cheaper in Dubai! Or you could always buy her 24 carrots. They are rich in vitamin A. It is good for your eyes.
I just finished my tenth and my friends want to go to Goa on an all-girls trip before we go to college. The thing is I am very insecure about wearing a bathing suit and I cannot imagine wearing one on a beach or even at the pool with strangers around. I don’t want to tell my friends because I think they will laugh at me – I am not fat, but I am not thin either. Any tips on how to handle this?

Dear Shy Sun-Bather,
Statistics show that human body human body consists of 70 percent water inside. Why not have 70 percent water outside? If you think your friends will laugh at you, they are not your true friends. And you may launch into true friendship with those surrounding strangers! Best of luck. Be bold and bathe ~ full.
I live in a hostel and my roommate is very irritating! Everyday he does not wake up when his alarm rings, but then he’ll wake up late for class and make so much noise, waking me. I have thought of getting up early one day and throwing cold water on him to wake him up…do you have any other ideas?

Dear Disturbed Roommate,
I am alarmed. Water is a precious commodity. Every drop makes an ocean. So don’t waste. Just go to matron and say in a matter of fact tone: excuse me matron, I live in a hostel and my roommate is very irritating! Everyday he does not wake up when his alarm rings, but then he’ll wake up late for class and make so much noise, waking me. I have thought of getting up early one day and throwing cold water on him to wake him up…do you have any other ideas? She will most probably give you an application form for room change (to be filled in triplicate).
