Kylie Minogue - You Can't Get Her Out Of Your Head
They say good things come in small packages, and at a petite 5'1", Kylie Minogue sure fits the description. She's every guy's ultimate fantasy. Beautiful, voluptuous, and drop-dead sexy, you can't help but admire every picture of her that you see, and most of the time, our mouths usually end up on the floor. To say that she's a 20th century pop icon would be an understatement. From her illustrious music career, to a movie career, to her foray into her own lingerie, this woman has done it all, seen it all, and something tells us, it's only the beginning.

She started off as the squeaky clean girl-next-door before a revelation came and she uttered her famous words, "I want to start singing about sex now." With the new lyrics came a new look, where Miss Goody Two Shoes was replaced by Miss Sex Kitten. Even Robbie Williams (a man that has no problem with ladies) admits to having a crush on her and wishes to have his fantasies come true. Actually, he was a little more blunt, and basically said she would be the ultimate girl to go to bed with. Why beat around the bush, right? But don't be fooled by her public image, Kylie considers her public persona and her private one - two very different things. Despite the glamorous exterior, she's a very simple girl. And a very talented woman - a dancer, singer, and actress all rolled into one.

You sort of know she had it in her, when her first TV role was as a teenager with a German accent. Twenty four years in showbiz has given her plenty of experience on how to handle everything thrown her way. In fact, the former soap starlet and onetime paramour of INXS's Michael Hutchence was Europe's biggest-selling female pop singer throughout the '90s (yes, that's right, even bigger than Madonna) and in the last few years, Kylie fever has now reached global epidemic proportions. Born Kylie Ann Minogue on May 28, 1968, in Melbourne, Australia - Kylie's mum Carol, could probably take a lot of credit for helping kick start Kylie's acting career. In 1980 Carol took both Kylie and sister Danielle to audition for a part in an Australian TV show called The Sullivans. Producers were very impressed with Kylie (Danielle was considered too young) so she was chosen to play the part of a Dutch girl called Carla. She had to learn a Dutch accent for the part. The same network also offered Kylie a brief part on another series called Skyways. She was to play the part of 'Robin' alongside her on-screen brother played by Jason Donovan. Putting her acting career on hold for five years after filming The Sullivans, Kylie continued on with her studies at school and worked on Sundays at a video shop. Who would have ever guessed that she would be Australia's most famous import two decades later.

A sixteen-year-old Kylie auditioned for and won a role in the mini series The Henderson Kids. Playing the part of Charlotte Kernow for the 6 month duration of the series, within this time Kylie had the difficult task of combining important high school studies with her acting. It was at this point in her life that the teenager began to realise how much she enjoyed acting. In 1985, Kylie completed school and then went on to appear in two more series - Fame & Misfortune and Zoo Family. And then the time for her to make a decision between finding a regular job or chasing a career in acting. Fortunately Kylie decided to go with her instincts and chose her acting career. She hired an agent and her first audition was for a well-known TV show. She nailed it at the audition, and the rest as they say, is history. It was 1986, and the actress turned singer's big break had come along when she was cast as car mechanic 'Charlene' on the popular Australian soap opera, Neighbours. (Which incidentally also spawned the career of fellow Australian rock star Natalie Imbruglia) When it was time for her contract renewal, it was obvious that Kylie's character was one of the most popular on the show, so her contract was renewed.
